Based in Edinburgh, The Chetwynde Journal exists as a space for young writers to publish their content. It was founded in 2024 by students of the humanities at the University of Edinburgh who lacked a semi-serious space to showcase their poetry, musings, essays, short stories, and plays.

At present, the Journal seeks to collate material with the aim of producing annual print editions.

If anyone is capable of greater digital sophistication than currently evinced by our haphazard website, please do get in touch.
